Gautam is a Senior Research Software Engineer with Ask.com as a part of Ask Analytics, working on Apache Hadoop, HBase and Hive. He is currently associated as a volunteer researcher with Prof. Brent Kang at GMU. Previously, he was a Post-Doctoral member of Infrastructure Systems Research Lab at University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He received Ph.D. in Information Technology and Masters in Computer Science from UNC Charlotte. He received Bachelors of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTU, India.
